3. Type of Setup
a. SETUP screen appears.
b. Cursor is on ENABLE CAN.
c. Move the cursor by pressing the
d. Press ENTER on the keypad when the cursor
is at the desired selection.
ENABLE CAN is the default selection. It
indicates that the systems has more than
one control module. To change to DIS-
ABLE CAN, which must be done for a
system with only one control module,
follow step 4 below.
MODIFY SETUP to modify a current setup.
Follow step 5, page 17.
NEW SETUP to enter a completely new
setup. Follow step 6, page 17.
CLEAR SETUP to clear particular setup
options. Choose CLEAR SETUP if this is
the initial setup of a new system. Follow
step 7, page 18.
PRINT SETUP to print out selected infor-
mation about the control module. If this is
the initial setup of a new system, print out
ALL MEMORY after the system is com-
pletely installed, for future reference. Fol-
low step 8, page 19.
UPDATE TABLES to send information from
one control module to all connected control
modules. If the Master Control Module was
setup off-line, use this feature to send
information to all control modules after
they are connected.
DIAGNOSTICS to help troubleshoot the
system.
4. Enable/Disable CAN Option
NOTE: See page 2 for CAN definition.
a. With the cursor at ENABLE CAN, press
ENTER on the keypad.
b. The CAN COMMUNICATIONS screen will ap-
pear, with the cursor at ENABLE CAN.
c. Press the

key to toggle between
ENABLE and DISABLE CAN. Change to DIS-
ABLE CAN if the system has only one control
module.
d. Press ENTER on the keypad when the cursor
is at the desired option.
e. The controller will return to the SETUP OP-
TIONS screen to allow another option to be
selected and modified until HOME is pressed.
