2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the network port on the lower-left rear side of
the laser illumination source.
Two Ethernet port styles are available on the laser illumination source and the style shown
below may not match the style on your laser illumination source.

Setting up the chiller unit

For detailed information on setting up the chiller, refer to the documentation provided by the
manufacturer of the chiller unit.
1. Position the chiller on level ground.
2. Confirm the chiller can operate and maintain proper specifications as stated in the Mirage SST
Projector Head Specifications Guide (P/N: 020-102994-04 or newer) as it is plumbed to the
laser illumination source.
3. Connect the chiller hoses to the laser illumination source ensuring the output of the chiller is
connected to the port on the laser rack marked SUPPLY and the port on the laser rack marked
RETURN is connected to the return port on the chiller.
If a Christie dripless quick disconnect (QD) solution was provided, confirm the male QD
connectors are on the output of the chiller and the RETURN side of the laser rack, and the
female QD connectors are on the port marked SUPPLY on the laser rack and on the return side
of the chiller. Hoses supplied for use with the Christie-supplied QD system have a male QD on
one end and a female QD on the other end regardless of the presence of any 90° elbows that
may or may not be used in the system. This essentially eliminates the opportunity of connecting
each system incorrectly.
