2. On the rear of the projector, loosen the screw securing the laser safety bracket.
3. Remove the fiber connector safety cover.
4. Remove the dust cover from the fiber input location and make sure the knurled ring and
locking pin are both rotated counterclockwise.
5. To remove the top clamp from the bottom of the strain relief, remove the four screws.
6. Discard the dummy rod located inside the protective pad.
7. Feed the fiber optic cable with the fiber connector dust cap attached on the tip through the
strain relief.
8. Remove the dust cap from the end of the fiber optic cable and store it in the safety cover.
9. To secure the fiber connector dust cap inside the safety cover, tighten the screw.
10. Gently slide the fiber optic cable into the fiber input ensuring the red dots line up.
