When the target leaves the view of the panoramic channel, the PTZ channel takes over the
leading role of the task and keeps tracking.
8. Optional: Check to enable Track in Turn.
When multiple targets trigger events in the panoramic channel around the same time, the PTZ
channel tracks the targets in turn. If this function is not enabled, the PTZ channel tracks a target
until it leaves the view.
9. Click Save.

4.16 GPS Calibration

GPS calibration is used to map the geographical location to the camera scene so that the device
can calculate the real-time geographic information of targets. This function is only supported under
certain VCA resource options.

4.16.1 Set GPS Calibration

Before You Start
Choose at least 4 calibration points on the ground in the monitoring scene and measure the
precise longitude and latitude of the points. The calibration points should scatter in a 2 × 2 or 3 × 3
array.
Steps
1. Go to Configuration → PTZ → GPS Calibration → Calibration .
Note
The PTZ control is automatically locked to avoid interruption during configuration.
2. Select the longitude and latitude type according to device location.
3. Set calibration points.
1) Adjust the pan, tilt, and zoom to find the scene with a calibration point.
2) Click
and click on the calibration point on the live image.
The selected point is zoomed in and placed in the center of the image.
3) Click
again.
A green cross shows on the point.
4) Click Add and input the precise longitude and latitude of the point.
5) Click
to save the pan, tilt, and zoom value of the point.
6) Click Save.
7) Repeat the steps to set other calibration points.
