4.14.1 Adjust Scene of Panoramic Channel
If the panoramic channel adopts a varifocal lens, you have to set the scene for the channel before
calibrating the two channels to establish the link.
Steps
1. Go to Configuration → PTZ → Panorama Tracking .
2. Click Scene Calibration.
3. Click Unlock to start adjustment.
4. Adjust the scene of the panoramic channel to the desired place via PTZ control buttons.
Note
If you find it is unable to focus clear, you can set Focus Mode as Semi-auto or Auto, and adjust
●
Min. Focus Distance to a smaller level.
If you want to tilt more than the current limit, check Elevation Range and set it to a larger
●
range if available.
5. Click Lock to finish.
6. Click Save.
7. Optional: Click Restore the Scene to restore the scene settings to the factory.
4.14.2 Link Channels by Calibration
Calibrate the panoramic channel and the PTZ channel to establish the link.
Steps
1. Go to Configuration → PTZ → Panorama Tracking .
2. Click Calibration.
3. Calibrate the channels automatically.
1) Select the Calibration Mode as Auto (Fast).
2) Adjust the PTZ positions of the two channels and make the centers of the two channels at
approximately the same position.
3) Click Start Calibration.
The device starts calibration automatically.
4. Optional: If automatic calibration fails, you can use the manual calibration.
1) Select the Calibration Mode as Manual.
2) Select a calibration point in Calibration Parameter list.
A numbered green cross is displayed on the panoramic image. You can drag the green cross to
adjust its position.
3) Click Add to save the cross position in the panoramic channel.
4) Adjust PTZ to place the green cross in the PTZ channel at the same position as the green cross
in the panoramic channel. 1× zoom ratio is recommended.
