4) Adjust PTZ to place the green cross in the PTZ channel at the same position as the green cross
in the panoramic channel. 1× zoom ratio is recommended.
Note
To quickly locate the desired point in the PTZ channel, you can click
position in the PTZ channel.
5) Click
to save the PTZ position of this calibration point.
6) Repeat the steps above to set at least 4 calibration points.
7) Click Start Calibration.
5. Click Save to finish calibration.

4.15.2 Set Tracking Parameters

The tracking parameters includes the initial tracking position, tracking zoom ratio, tracking
duration, and advanced parameters.
Steps
1. Go to Configuration → PTZ → Panorama Tracking → Calibration .
2. Set the initial tracking position of the PTZ channel.
When the tracking task stops, the PTZ channel returns to the set initial position.
1) Adjust the PTZ channel to the desired scene as the initial position.
2) Click Set Tracking Initial Position to save the position.
3. Set the tracking zoom ratio.

4. Set the tracking duration.
- When you set the Tracking Duration as 0, the PTZ channel keeps tracking the target until it
leaves the view of the panoramic channel.
- When you set the Tracking Duration as a number other than 0, the PTZ channel tracks a target
for the set time. The tracking stops when the time is up or when the target leaves the view of
the panoramic channel.
5. Click Save.
6. Go to Configuration → PTZ → Panorama Tracking → Advanced .
7. Optional: Check to enable Tracking Takeover.

A fixed zoom ratio means the PTZ channel keeps the set zoom value
throughout the tracking.
Adjust the Self-adaptive Ratio Coefficient to 0.
Adjust the zoom to a desired level.
Click Set Zoom Ratio to save the zoom level.
The device determines the actual zoom ratio dynamically according to the
detected target size and the set Self-adaptive Ratio Coefficient.
Larger Self-adaptive Ratio Coefficient means larger zoomed target during
tracking.
