How to Add an Existing User to a Second Tuxedo
After adding a user to the first Tuxedo, the same user can be added to a second Tuxedo. From the second Tuxedo go to
User Setup and enter the same user name and same user code (refer to "How to Add a User" above). The second Tuxedo
will automatically update the user information. Press Save.
Delete a User
Select the User you want to delete and press DELETE USER
icon.
Edit a User
NOTE: You cannot edit a User name or User number. To modify a User name or User number, you must delete the User
and re-enter the User. Edit a User as follows:
Press EDIT USER
and enter your authorized code. Select the options needed for this user and press Save.
Advanced Setup
Access these menus from the Home screen, press Setup
enter your authorized code and press Keypad Test
Keypad Test lets you verify correct operation of the Tuxedo and its connections to the security system. There are five
diagnostic tests:
• LCD Display Test
• Audio Test
• LED Test
• Calibration
• Z-Wave Test
NOTE: Performing Diagnostic Tests: Select any diagnostic test from the "Diagnostics" screen by pressing its associated
Test icon. All or any individual test may be run when you access the "Diagnostics" screen; however, each test must be
performed one at a time. At any time when a test is not being performed, you can press back to return to the previous
screen or home to return to your home page.
Once the Diagnostics screen is exited, subsequent entry to this screen displays all test options as
"Not Performed."
LCD Display Test
Press LCD Display Test
After each type of display, you are asked if the display was proper. If the response to all questions is yes, the LCD
Display Test message area of the Diagnostics screen displays Passed.
The Emergency screen cannot be accessed while running the LCD Display Test.
Audio Test
Press Audio Test; Testing.. is displayed while beeps sound from the speaker. At the conclusion of the test, a pop-up
"Confirmation Window" is displayed with the question Did you hear Beeping?
• When you press Yes, "Passed" is displayed in the test status column on the "Diagnostics" screen.
• When you press No, "Failed" is displayed in the test status column on the "Diagnostics" screen.
LED Test
Press LED Test; "Testing..." is displayed while the 3 LEDs light sequentially, top to bottom (red, green, yellow), 5 times.
At the conclusion of the test, a pop-up "Confirmation Window" is displayed with the question "Did you see chasing LED
pattern?"
• If you press Yes, "Passed" is displayed in the test status column on the "Diagnostics" screen.
• If you press No, "Failed" is displayed in the test status column on the "Diagnostics" screen.
