  • Page 43 Serato DJ Pro Serato DJ Pro screen immediately after it launches • You don’t need to activate the software or buy the license when you use the DDJ-REV5. When you launch Serato DJ Pro for the first time, [Login to Serato.com] may be displayed on the right side of the screen.

  • Page 64 Serato DJ Pro User mode You can assign DJ software functions to the Performance Pads on the unit using the MIDI assigning mode in most types of DJ software. The unit supports two User modes and you can assign functions to 8 pads in each User mode.

    Serato DJ Pro Dual Deck mode You can simultaneously control Decks 1 and 3 (or Decks 2 and 4) in Dual Deck Mode. You can scratch or play a loop/Hot Cue, etc., as if the two different tracks are combined as one track.

With this function, you can use other controls while BPM automatically transits as you don't have to manually adjust the tempo slider.

    Serato DJ Pro • If you press the [ ] (Auto BPM Transition Start) button when the Sync function is turned off on the other deck, the tempo will gradually change to match the BPM of the track on the other deck. The BPM will match when the set number of bars passes and Auto BPM Transition will automatically end.

    Serato DJ Pro Function Description If you press a Performance Pad (page 52) or a pad button (page 66) with a Hot Cue set during playback, the playback Slip Hot Cue point jumps to the Hot Cue point and playback continues until you release the pad/button.
