User mode
You can assign DJ software functions to the Performance Pads on the unit using the MIDI
assigning mode in most types of DJ software.
The unit supports two User modes and you can assign functions to 8 pads in each User
mode.
This section describes an example of how to use User modes with Serato DJ Pro.
• Find out about the MIDI assigning mode of your DJ software in the relevant user manual.
1 Press the [SAVED LOOP] or [SAMPLER] button twice.
— [SAVED LOOP] : Switches to User mode 1.
— [SAMPLER] : Switches to User mode 2.
2 Click [MIDI] on the Serato DJ Pro screen.
Serato DJ Pro switches to MIDI assigning mode.
3 Click a function to assign to a Performance Pad on the unit.
