Playing a track
1 Set the knobs, etc. as follows on the deck that plays a track.
— Input selector switch : [
— [TRIM] knob : Turn all the way counterclockwise
— [HI, MID, LOW] knobs : Center position
— [FILTER] knob : Center position
— Channel fader : Bottom position
— [MASTER LEVEL] knob : Turn all the way counterclockwise
— Crossfader : Center position
2 Press the [
3 Turn the [TRIM] knob.
• Adjust the [TRIM] knob so the channel level indicator lights up in orange at the peak
level.
4 Move the channel fader up.
5 Turn the [MASTER LEVEL] knob to properly adjust the sound
output from the [MASTER 1]/[MASTER 2] output terminals.
• To output sound from the speakers of PC/Mac, adjust the volume for the speakers on
the PC/Mac.
• If sound isn't output from the [MASTER 1]/[MASTER 2] output terminals or your PC/
Mac isn't recognized by the unit after it's connected to the unit, refer to the [FAQ] for
the DDJ-REV5 at the URL below.
