Piano Play mode
In Piano Play mode, the Performance Pads on both decks light up like a piano's keyboard.
You can use this mode to play Hot Cues in different pitches and musical scales.
1 Press the [ROLL] button while pressing the [SHIFT] button.
The unit switches to Piano Play mode.
2 Press a Performance Pad that has a Hot Cue assigned.
The Hot Cue assigned to the Performance Pad is selected.
3 Press a Performance Pad.
Playback starts from the selected Hot Cue point according to the pitch assigned to the
Performance Pad.
• Press the [PARAMETER 1
the pitch range.
• Press the [PARAMETER 1
change the scale display for the Performance Pads. Pitches assigned to the
Performance Pads don't change, even if the scale display is changed.
• Pitches and the scale display of each key range are assigned to the Performance
Pads as follows.
— Up range: Minor pentatonic
