• Check if the unit is recognized by your PC/Mac, and the firmware version of the unit is
displayed in Setting Utility (page 35).
Audio output
The unit doesn't output sound / The volume is low / The sound
is distorted.
• Set the [TRIM] knob, [MASTER LEVEL] knob, and input selector switch properly.
• Check all cables are connected properly (page 27).
• Wipe any dust or dirt off the terminals and plugs before connecting them.
• If you use a Mac, set the buffer size (latency) properly for the DJ software you're using.
• If you use a PC (Windows), set the buffer size properly in Setting Utility (page 32).
Microphone sound isn't output.
• Set the [OFF, ON, TALKOVER] selector switch properly.
• Set the [ATT.] and [MIC LEVEL] knobs properly.
Sampler sound can't be monitored with headphones.
• Set the [SAMPLER VOLUME] knob properly.
Serato DJ Pro
Serato DJ Pro is unstable.
• Update Serato DJ Pro to the latest version.
• Close all software other than Serato DJ Pro. If Serato DJ Pro is still unstable, disable the
wireless connection, anti-virus software, screen-saver, and power saving mode. When you
close anti-virus software, etc., disconnect from the internet to ensure the safety of your PC/
Mac.
• If a USB device other than this unit is connected to your PC/Mac, disconnect it.
• If you're using your laptop with battery power, connect it to the AC power.
Tracks aren't displayed in the library.
• If tracks aren't displayed in the library, import audio files. For details on how to import audio
files, refer to the Serato DJ Pro software manual (page 6).
