Slip

If you turn Slip mode on, normal playback continues in the background (but you can't hear it)
during scratch play, loop playback, or Hot Cue playback.
When you end the operations, Slip is canceled and normal playback starts from the exact
point the track would have reached by then. This means the original rhythm remains constant
and your performance stays perfectly in time.
Slip Scratch play
1 Press the [KEY LOCK] button while pressing the [SHIFT]
button.
Vinyl mode turns on.
• Check if the [KEY LOCK] button lights up while pressing the [SHIFT] button.
2 Press the [SLIP] button.
Slip mode turns on and the [SLIP] button lights up.
3 Turn the jog wheel to scratch during playback.
Normal playback continues with its original rhythm in the background.
• The [SLIP] button blinks while Slip is in use.
• Release the jog wheel to start normal playback from the exact point the track would
have reached by then.
• Press the [SLIP] button again to turn Slip mode off.
