Sample Scratch mode
You can load a track from a sampler slot in rekordbox to a deck.
1 Press the [SAMPLER] button while pressing the [SHIFT]
button.
The unit switches to Sample Scratch mode.
2 Press the [PARAMETER 1 ] or [PARAMETER 1 ] button to
switch Sampler Banks.
3 Press a Performance Pad.
The sound from the sampler slot assigned to the pad is loaded to the deck.
You can then scratch, etc. with the sound on the deck.
• Slots are assigned to Performance Pads as follows (slots 1 to 8 are for Deck 1 and
Deck 3, and slots 9 to 16 are for Deck 2 and Deck 4).

• If the play mode of the sampler slot is Oneshot, playback starts as it's loaded to the
deck.
• If the play mode of the sampler slot is Loop, the manual loop is set when it's loaded,
and playback starts as it's loaded to the deck.
• If Gate mode is set in the sampler slot, it operates as a cue point sampler while
pressing the pad as it's loaded to the deck.
• Press the Performance Pad while pressing the [SHIFT] button again to unload the loaded
track.
