Keyboard mode
You can use the Performance Pads as a keyboard to add musical scales to Hot Cues.
1 Press the [HOT CUE] button while pressing the [SHIFT]
button.
The unit switches to Keyboard mode.
2 Press a Performance Pad that has a Hot Cue set.
• If a Hot Cue isn't set to the Performance Pad, the current playback point is set as a
Hot Cue point.
• Press the [HOT CUE] button while pressing the [SHIFT] button to select other Hot
Cue to use in Keyboard mode.
• Pitches are assigned to the Performance Pads by default as follows.

• Semitone is a unit of pitch. +1 semitone represents a semitone higher than the
original key.
• Press the [PARAMETER 1
3 Press a Performance Pad.
The Hot Cue is played at the pitch assigned to the pad.
