Performance Pads

You can use 2 modes at the same time using Performance Pads and Deck Pads (page 66).
Pad mode buttons
The unit switches to the following modes depending on how you operate the Pad mode
buttons.

Combo Pad mode
If you press a Pad mode button while pressing another Pad mode button, you can use 2 Pad
modes at the same time (the supported modes are Hot Cue, Roll, Saved Loop, and Sampler
modes).
The Pad mode of the button you press first is assigned to the top 4 Performance Pads and
the Pad mode of the button you press next is assigned to the bottom 4 Performance Pads.
The Pad modes assigned to the top and bottom Performance Pads work as Pads 1 to 4
respectively.
