Serato DJ Pro screen immediately after it launches
• You don't need to activate the software or buy the license when you use the DDJ-REV5.
When you launch Serato DJ Pro for the first time, [Login to Serato.com] may be displayed
on the right side of the screen. Log in to your account to activate any expansion packs you
own.
Importing a track
The following instructions describe the basic operation to import tracks to Serato DJ Pro.
• For other importing methods, refer to the Serato DJ Pro software manual (page 6).
• In Serato DJ Pro, you can use libraries created with other DJ software from Serato Limited,
such as Scratch Live, ITCH, Serato DJ Intro, and Serato DJ Lite.
To use a library created with Serato DJ Intro, you may need to analyze tracks when using
Serato DJ Pro.
1 Click [Files] on the Serato DJ Pro screen.
The [Files] panel opens and the contents of the PC/Mac and any connected devices (e.g.
external hard drives) are displayed.
2 Click a folder which include tracks you want to add to the
library.
The folder is selected.
3 Drag and drop the selected folder to the crates list.
A crate is created and the tracks are added to the library.
