Adjusting the playback speed without changing the pitch
(Key Lock)
If you turn Key Lock on, you can change the playback speed of a track using the Tempo slider
without changing the pitch.
1 Press the [Key Lock] button to turn Key Lock on.
The button lights up when Key Lock is turned on.
• Press the [Key Lock] button again to turn Key Lock off.
Using the jog wheels
You can use the following features in combination with the jog wheel.

Description
Turn the jog wheel while touching the top during playback in
Vinyl mode to scratch a track.
Release the jog wheel to resume normal playback.
Turn the outer section of the jog wheel, or turn the top of the
jog wheel when Vinyl mode isn't turned on to adjust the
playback speed.
Turn the top of the jog wheel while pressing the [SHIFT]
button to cycle through tracks with extra speed according to
the rotation direction. If you release the [SHIFT] button, it
changes to scratch operation and you can fine-adjust the
playback position.
