7. CYLINDER HEAD/VALVES
CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY
Install the valve spring seats and valve stem
seals.
Lubricate each valve stem with engine oil and
insert the valves into the valve guides.
Be sure to install new valve stem seals.
Install the valve spring.
Install the valve retainer.
Install the valve cotter.
Valve spring compressor A120E00051
If not install cotter successfully once time, try
to press down gently with the tool for 2~3
times to firmly seat the cotters.

Be careful not to damage the valves.

CYLINDER HEAD INSTALLATION

Install the dowel pins and a new cylinder head
gasket.
Install the cam chain guide.
