Section 5: Parts and Module Replacement

5.12.2 Douser Motor

The Douser Motor is located in the lamp compartment behind the reflector assembly.
(Estimated Replacement Time: 12 minutes + 10
minute LampLOC™ Alignment)
1. Remove front top lid. Refer to
page
5-6.
2. Rotate the rear top lid to gain access to the douser
bracket.
3. Remove the rear skin. Refer to
page
5-8.
4. Using a 3mm hex key, remove the three screws
securing the douser bracket. (Figure 5-53)
5. Disconnect the harness from the IMCB.
6. Slide the douser assembly back, and lift up and out
from the top of the projector.
7. When installing, repeat instructions in reverse. Once installed, perform LampLOC

5.12.3 Ceramic Plate on Douser Blade

The ceramic plate is located in the lamp compartment and is mounted to the douser blade. It is used to absorb
heat from the light emitted by the lamp.
(Estimated Replacement Time: 4 minutes + 10 minute LampLOC
1. Open the lamp door. Refer to

4. When installing, repeat instructions in reverse. Once
