Clamp the piston rod with the heim joint into a vise.

Mount rubber buffer

Position special tool
Mounting sleeve (T313) (

Grease the seal ring and slide seal ring retainer
Lubricant (T625) (
–
Remove the special tool.

Mount supporting plate

Mount compression shim stack

–
Grind the piston on both sides on a surface plate with sandpaper grit 1200.

Mount the piston.
