Changing the shaft seal ring of the kick starter

Remove shaft seal ring
–
Press out the bearing of the water pump shaft with a suitable tool.
Info
Support the clutch cover when pressing out.

Press the bearing of the water pump shaft all the way in with a suitable tool.
Info
Support the clutch cover when pressing in.

Press in the shaft seal ring

Mount water pump shaft
Info
Do not damage the shaft seal ring.
–
Mount the water pump impeller.
–
Mount and tighten screw

Screw, water pump wheel

Mount drive gear

–
Remove shaft seal ring
–
Press the new shaft seal ring all the way in with the open side facing inward.
Info
Support the clutch cover when pressing in.
