Adjusting the riding sag

Remove shock absorber. (
After removing the shock absorber, clean it thoroughly.
Choose and mount a suitable spring.
Guideline
Spring rate (50 SX)
Weight of rider: < 25 kg (< 55 lb.)
Weight of rider: 25... 35 kg (55... 77 lb.)
Weight of rider: > 40 kg (> 88 lb.)
Spring rate (50 SX Mini)
Weight of rider: < 25 kg (< 55 lb.)
Weight of rider: 25... 35 kg (55... 77 lb.)
Weight of rider: > 35 kg (> 77 lb.)
Info
The spring rate is shown on the outside of the spring.
Smaller weight differences can be compensated by changing the spring preload.
Install shock absorber. (
Check the static sag of the shock absorber. (
Check the riding sag of the shock absorber. (
Adjust the rebound damping of the shock absorber. (

Jack up the motorcycle. (
Remove screw
without blocking the rear wheel. Fix the rear wheel in this position.
Remove screw
absorber.

Push the splash protector
to the desired seat height. Mount and tighten screw
