Close the Main Entry Door from Inside with Power

WARNING: The door area must be clear of people and obstructions before opening or closing the door to
prevent injury to persons or damage to equipment.
WARNING: Do not release the AIRSTAIR button until the door is closed. If the AIRSTAIR button is released
while the door is closing, the door stops closing and returns to a fully opened position.
To close the main entry door from inside the aircraft with power
1. Push and hold the AIRSTAIR button on the forward wardrobe switch panel.
Note: Movement of the door begins approximately 5 seconds after the AIRSTAIR button is pushed. The door will stop when the top
edge is 4 to 10 inches (10 to 25 cm) from the fuselage structure.
2. When the door has nearly closed, grasp the hand-hold in the step riser and hold the door in the fully closed position.
3. Lower the internal door handle fully into place.
4. Lift the internal T-handle cover.
5. Pull the internal T-handle in tightly to stow the outer handle.
Note: Make sure the green LOCKED indicator is shown between the two lines in the viewing window.
6. Stow the internal T-handle and release the cover.
