ENVIRONMENT CONTROLS DESCRIPTION

A forced-air heater supplies warm air to the entry area. The entry area heater is controlled from the GCP. The entry area
heater is controlled from the GCP Galley Equipment maintenance menu. Press the Entrance/Galley Heater button to turn
on/off the entry area heater.
The passenger cabin temperature system can be controlled primarily from the CABIN TEMP switch on the cockpit AIR
CONDITIONING control panel. Cabin controls for the passenger cabin temperature system can be enabled or disabled
by the CABIN TEMP CONT XFER switch on the cockpit AIR CONDITIONING control panel. When enabled in the
cockpit, temperature system adjustments may be made in the cabin from the cabin temperature page on the GCP, as
shown in
Figure
55, or from the VIP PCU.
To adjust the cabin's ambient temperature from either the GCP or the VIP PCU, touch the temperature icon on the main
menu to show the cabin temperature page. The current temperature setup is shown as a control button icon on a
temperature gauge slider. Colder values are on the blue side of the gauge and warmer values are on the red side. Preset
temperatures appear as markers along the gauge. Press and hold the control button to slide it to the next preset marker,
either toward the cooler (blue) or the warmer (red) end of the gauge. Release the control and wait a few minutes for the
cabin temperature to adjustment fully before any the control button is moved to a new marker.
