WATER SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

The potable water system shown in
system electrical component tray, two water heaters, and a water filter and shutoff valves pallet. Potable water system
status information, such as water level percentage, is shown on the GCP, the cockpit touchscreens, and the external
water service panel. To prevent frozen water in the system, automatic electrically heated water lines are used throughout
the aircraft.
CAUTION: If the aircraft will be subjected to temperatures that will freeze water the lavatory water system
must be drained. If the ambient air temperature is below 32 °F (0 °C), cabin power must be
maintained until all water has been drained.
Water can be purged from the potable water system any time power is applied and the system is pressurized. The water
system should be purged any time the aircraft is parked in a location where there is a possibility of frozen liquid in the
water and waste systems.
Note: The water heaters will not operate if the water system is empty.
Note: The lavatory has a floormat switch to prevent unintentional water flow to the vanity faucet.
