LIGHTING
The crystal showcase effect lights illuminate the uppermost galley crystal storage compartment. The crystal showcase
light function is step dimmable (0/33/66/100%) and is controlled by the GCP. The crystal showcase effect lights will remain
illuminated when the tambour door is closed unless the effect lights have been set to 0% in the GCP.
The crystal storage effect lights illuminate the center compartment in the upper galley. The crystal storage effect light
function is step dimmable (0/33/66/100%) and is typically controlled by the GCP. The crystal storage effect lights are
deactivated by a microswitch when the tambour door is closed.
Each drawer light in the lower galley and galley tower illuminates automatically when its drawer is opened. The drawer
lights are on/off and are activated and deactivated by a microswitch within the respective drawer.
The gasper chilled food storage compartment light in the lower galley illuminates automatically when the compartment
door is opened and is activated and deactivated by a microswitch in the compartment door.
Accent lights in the kick space area of the galley illuminate the surrounding floor. The galley kick space accent lights are
controlled by both the galley lights system and the emergency floor path marker lights system. The galley kick space
accent light controls are on/off and under normal conditions are controlled from the GCP and the VIP PCU. Also, the
galley kick space accent lights are illuminated automatically when the emergency floor path marker lights system has been
activated.
