Place an Interplane Call
To place an interplane call using the handset:
1. Remove the handset from the cradle.
2. On the touchscreen, slide the green unlock button to the right to unlock the screen.
Note: The dialer screen should appear. If the dialer screen does not appear, press the dialer button.
3. On the touchscreen, enter the phone number with the prefix appropriate for the dialing format.
- North American Standard — Press 011 + 8816 + 8-digit transceiver number.
- European Standard — Press 8816 + 8-digit transceiver number.
Note: Use the delete icon if necessary to delete the number if any number was entered incorrectly.
4. Press the green phone icon at the bottom of the touchscreen to place the call.
5. To end the call, press the red phone icon at the bottom of the touchscreen.
Note: When the call is ended, the Call Ended screen is displayed.
