Deploy the Jumpseat
To deploy the jumpseat (Figure
1. Open the jumpseat compartment nesting door.
2. While pulling the berthing pan handle, slide the berthing pan inboard until it locks in the fully extended position.
3. Adjust the seat pan to face forward or aft, as desired.
Note: While the seat back is folded down and the seat tracking handle is held, the jumpseat will swivel freely.
4. While pulling the seat back handle, raise the seat back until it locks.
5. The seat back locks in the up position.
6. While pulling the seat tracking handle, adjust forward/aft tracking, as desired.
7. While pulling the seat recline handle, push the seat back to the desired angle.
8. Pull up on the backrest extension to deploy it, if required.
