GROUND FAULT INTERRUPTER

WARNING: A ground fault represents a hazardous condition. Ensure the condition is corrected before resetting
the GFI device. Failure to observe this warning may result in injury or death.
GFIs are located in the forward wardrobe, the upper galley, and in the armledge storage boxes adjacent to seat 01 and
seat 02. Over-current protection for outlets is provided by these GFIs. Over-current protection for the GFIs is provided
by the CABIN LH OUTLETS, CABIN RH OUTLETS, GALLEY OUTLET, and PILOT/PRINTER OUTLETS circuit breakers
on the Galley Circuit Breaker Panel (CBP-G).
GFI Operation
GFI devices protect against electric shock. The GFI in the galley provides ground fault protection to the galley outlet. The
GFI in the forward wardrobe provides ground fault protection to the cockpit pilot outlet. The GFI in the armledge storage
box adjacent to seat 01 provides ground fault protection to the cabin outlets in the left-hand armledges. The GFI in the
armledge storage box adjacent to seat 02 provides ground fault protection to the cockpit pilot outlet, the cabin outlets in
the right-hand armledges, and the lavatory vanity outlet.
GFI Reset
A ground fault will trip the ON/OFF lever on the GFI housing. After the condition is cleared, move the ON/OFF lever to
the ON position to reset the fault detection circuitry.
