ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

This section describes the aircraft entertainment system. Entertainment system components shown in
the UCS 5000 Gogo Vision application services, a Blu-ray player, an iPod docking harness, HD monitors, a High-Definition
Multimedia Interface (HDMI) port, and Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports. Headphone ports are installed at each seat
location except the divan middle seats.
The cabin entertainment system has two basic functions: output selection and source control.
Output selection refers to which equipment is selected to present the entertainment signal (e.g., speakers or headphones,
monitor, etc.).
Source control refers to commanding and controlling the entertainment equipment that has been selected (e.g., play or
pause a DVD, increase or decrease volume, etc.).
The cabin entertainment system may be controlled from the:
• Galley Control Panel (GCP)
• Passenger Control Units (PCU)
• VIP PCU
