WATER AND WASTE

Water System Tank

The main water supply storage tank is in the baggage compartment and has a capacity of 10 U.S. gallons (37.8 liters).

Water System Electrical Component Tray

The water system electrical component tray in the baggage compartment above the water tank supplies automatic control
of the potable water supply operations and water level indications. The electrical components operate automatically in
response the potable water system programming of the CMS. The CMS status monitors and controls for the potable
water system are available through the GCP.

Water System Pallet

The main water system pallet in the baggage compartment operates automatically when cabin power is available. The
water system pallet components are controlled by the water system electrical component tray, which communicates the
water system status to the CMS. The water system status is available to view on the GCP. When the water system pallet
automatically handles an overflow condition or the water system is purged, the water drains through the drain mast.

Galley Water Heater

The inline water heater that supplies hot water to the galley is installed outboard of the lower aft galley cabinet. The galley
water heater is controlled from the GCP Galley Equipment maintenance menu. Press the Galley Water Heater button to
turn on/off the galley water heater.

Lavatory Water Heater

An inline water heater inside the lower vanity cabinet under the sink supplies hot water to the lavatory faucet. The
lavatory water heater is controlled from the GCP Lavatory Equipment maintenance menu. Press the Lavatory Water
Heater button to turn on/off the lavatory water heater.
