CABIN FURNISHINGS
Berth the Divan
WARNING: The divan must not be berthed during taxi, takeoff, and landing. When occupied while berthed, the
safety sleeper belt must be fastened. Failure to observe this warning may result in injury to cabin
occupants.
To provide a resting area, berth the divan
1. Pull up to remove the plug-in armrests.
2. Pull up on and remove the seat back cushions to access the berthing pan.
Note: For the seat back cushion beside the emergency exit door, remove the leather flap Velcro located on the bottom of the seat
back cushion. The seat cushion may be removed for better accessibility.
3. Locate the slide control handle in the center front of the divan, under the seat cushion.
4. Lift up slightly on the slide control handle to unlock the berthing pan.
5. Pull the berthing pan inboard until it locks into place.
Note: The divan may move inboard up to 10 inches (25.5 cm) before locking in place.
6. Place the seat belts under the seat cushions to not obstruct the installation of the seat back cushions.
7. Loosen the Velcro fasteners on the bottom side of the back seat cushions.
8. Install the seat back cushions on the back pan with cushion hooks placed in the space provided on the back pan.
