Note: The jumpseat seat pan may be swiveled to any of the preset detent positions. The seat pan locks at each detent unless the
seat tracking handle is held in the forward (unlock) position.
Stow the Jumpseat
To stow the jumpseat (Figure
1. Push down the backrest extension if it was deployed.
2. While pulling the seat recline handle, push down on the seat back until it locks.
3. While pulling the seat track handle, push the seat pan back (aft) on the berthing pan until it locks.
Note: The seat back must be down and locked in order for the seat pan to swivel.
4. Using the seat tracking handle to swivel the seat pan, make sure the seat is facing forward.
5. While pulling the seat back handle, lower the seat back to the fully down position.
6. The seat back locks in the down position.
7. While pulling the berthing pan handle, slide the berthing pan into the jumpseat compartment until it locks.
8. Close the jumpseat compartment nesting door.
