Forward Cabin Door

WARNING: The forward cabin door must be attached in the open position during taxi, takeoff, and landing.
Failure to observe this warning may result in injury to cabin occupants.
A manual sliding pocket door separates the entry and galley areas from the main cabin. The latch mechanism has been
customized to backup the dual button latch so the door can be stowed at any time.
CAUTION: The door latch mechanism must be in the open position before the door can be deployed.
To open the pocket door
(Figure
1. Push the upper push-button latch to release door from the first latch.
The pocket door slides inboard about 2 inches (5 cm).
2. Push the lower push-button latch to release door from the second latch.
The pocket door slides out to approximately 60% of its travel; the drop-down footer deploys automatically.
3. Grab the handle and pull the door at a slight upward angle until it closes.
Note: Slight pressure will be needed to overcome the spring until the door locks into place.
