LIGHTING
Airstair Board Lights
The board lights on the airstair can provide general illumination when the main entry door is open. Airstair board lights
controls are on/off when controlled by the ENTRY LIGHTS switch on the exterior passenger door control panel, the
entry area switch panel on the forward wardrobe header (shown in
Figure
49), the ENT LTS PBA switch on the cockpit
CABIN control panel, the GCP, and the VIP PCU. When the main entry door is closed, the airstair board lights are
disabled by a microswitch.
Wardrobe Light
The wardrobe light in the forward wardrobe cabinet is a wash light that can provide general illumination when the
wardrobe door is open. The wardrobe light controls are on/off when controlled by the entry area switch panel on the
forward wardrobe header (shown in
Figure
49). When the wardrobe door is closed, the wardrobe light is disabled by a
microswitch.
Jumpseat Light
A dome light in the forward entry area headliner provides general illumination to the area of the observer jumpseat.
The jumpseat light is controlled by the jumpseat light switch panel on the forward wardrobe header (shown in
Figure
50).
The jumpseat light can either be switched on/off by a quick press-release of the switch, or have its illumination vary either
more dim or more bright by continuous pressure on the switch.
