7.6 Replacing Fuse

CAUTION
Fuse can be very hot!
A fuse that has just blown may be very hot!
Do not touch the fuse with bare hands.
If necessary, let the blown fuse cool down, or protect your hands, for example with insu-
lating gloves.
To insert or replace the fuse, proceed as follows:
ü Make sure that the connected circuit is voltage-free.
1. Loosen the fuse holder by using a flathead screwdriver on the upper housing recess
and prying out the fuse holder.
2. Pivot the fuse holder cover downwards to open the fuse holder.
3. Take measures to prevent the hot fuse from burning you, for example, by letting it
cool down first.
4. Take out the old fuse.
5. Insert a new fuse.
