Storing and recalling edit data

The unit contains an EDL (edit decision list) memory
for storing up to 200 events.
Edit data can be stored in the EDL memory and,
whenever the necessity arises, the required event
data which has been registered can be recalled.
It is also possible to modify recalled data, edit events
one by one or perform multi-event editing.
$ Executing editing and storing the edit
data in the EDL memory
When editing is performed by preparing the edit
data as a new event (an event whose 3-digit
number displayed on the event number display
lamps is preceded by an "n"), the data is
automatically stored in the EDL memory upon
completion of the editing. At the same time, the
event number is carried up by 1, and the edit data
is updated.
$ Storing the edit data in the EDL memory
without executing editing
When edit data is prepared as a new event and the
FS ([SHIFT] + [+]) button is pressed, the edit data is
stored in the EDL memory. At the same time, the
event number is carried up by 1, and the edit data
is updated.
When the FS button is pressed after changing the
edit data of an event which is not a new event, a
screen (with the CORRECT OK ? message) for
checking whether the changed data is to be stored
appears.
If the data is to be stored, press the ENTER button;
if not, press the C button.
Ripple processing is also checked when the edit
OUT point of VTR2 (recorder) has been changed.
For further details, refer to the section on the
Correct Function (page 77).
<Note>
If events 000 through 200 are stored when OFF has
been selected as the setup menu item No.374 (EDL
AUTO CLR) setting, "FULL" will appear on the
event number display lamps, and no more events
can be stored. (Overwriting is prohibited.)
If edit data is stored after event 200 when ON has
been selected for the above item, operation returns
to event 001 which is then overwritten when the
data of the new event is stored.
