Setting the time code
When performing assemble editing or
time code insert editing by presetting the
user's bit

Align the cursor with setup menu item No.574 (UB
PRESET).

Press the T SET ([SHIFT] + [3]) button.

Use the numeric input buttons to input the desired
user's bit value.

Press the ENTER button.

Select "SW" as the setup menu item No.504
(REGEN MODE).

Set the TC generator switch of VTR2 to R-RUN or
F-RUN.

Proceed with the assemble editing or time code
insert editing.
<Note>
To input letters A through F, press the SHIFT button
and one of the following number buttons.
A ([SHIFT] + [1])
B ([SHIFT] + [2])
C ([SHIFT] + [3])
D ([SHIFT] + [4])
E ([SHIFT] + [5])
F ([SHIFT] + [6])
