0001 5s protection mode when it has been left standing in the STOP or
0002 10s search STILL (JOG, VAR or SHTL) mode.

This selects the tape protection mode operation when the unit has
been left standing in the STILL mode.
0000 STEP 0: Step (or step FWD in STILL mode).
0001 HALF 1: Half loading
<Note>
When step FWD has been set, the unit is automatically transferred
to the half loading mode when it has been left standing for a total
of 30 minutes in the STILL mode.
This selects the drum operation in the standby OFF mode.
0000 OFF 0: The drum is stopped.
0001 ON 1: The drum is rotated.
This selects the tape protection mode operation when the unit has
been left standing in the STOP mode.
0000 STEP 0: Step FWD
0001 HALF 1: Half loading

When step FWD has been set, the unit is automatically transferred
to the half loading mode when it has been left standing for a total
of 30 minutes in the STOP mode.
