Fuel Supply System - Edition 10.2018
– Attach fuel lines -1 and 2- on left locking flange until they au‐
dibly engage.
– Connect electrical connector -arrow- on underside of left lock‐
ing flange.
– Install the new locking flange seal dry.
– Bring the left locking flange into the installation position.
• The tab -2- on left locking flange faces toward the arrow mark‐
ing and must lie between tabs -1 and 3- on fuel tank.
– Install locking flange cover.
– Insert the frame into the floor covering. Refer to the Parts Cat‐
alog and ⇒ Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 70 .
– Remove the seat frame and seat cushion in the second row.
Refer to ⇒ Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 72 .
– Be sure to follow the procedure for connecting the battery and
afterwards. Refer to ⇒ Electrical Equipment; Rep. Gr. 27 .
– After Installation fuel delivery unit, fill vehicle with at least 5
liters of fuel.
Vehicles with Auxiliary Heater:
– Allow to run 10 minutes at full throttle to bleed fuel supply line
to auxiliary heater metering pump.

♦ Connector Test Set - VAG1594C-
Procedure
– Remove the right seat cushion in the second row. Refer to ⇒
Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 72 .
