Note
Fuel Pump Control Module - J538- is located at front of fuel tank
below exhaust system and driveshaft.
WARNING
Danger of getting burned.
♦ Allow exhaust system to cool.
– Disconnect the connector -2-.
Note
Ignore -1 and 3- and -arrow-.
Vehicles from 11/2006:
Note
The Fuel Pump Control Module - J538- is located on the vehicle
floor at the right under the rear sent bench, directly under the floor
covering.
– Remove the right seat cushion in the second row. Refer to ⇒
Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 72 .
WARNING
Risk of injury.
♦ Wear safety gloves.
– Cut the floor covering along the perforation -arrows- on the
right side with a carpet knife -1-.
– Press the floor covering to the side and disconnect the con‐
nector -1-.
