Fuel Supply System - Edition 10.2018
– Disconnect fuel line -arrow- by pressing release button.
– Grasp in fuel tank opening and remove fuel delivery lines
-1 and 4- by pressing releases.
– Disconnect the suction jet pipe -2- to suction jet pump by
pressing release button.
– Remove fuel lines -3- from opening on right of fuel tank.
– Reach into the opening in the fuel tank and release the fuel
delivery unit -1- by turning it counter-clockwise 15° in direction
of -arrow- (bayonet connection).
Note
The fuel delivery unit is illustrated without the fuel tank.
• The notch -3- on the fuel delivery unit then aligns with the re‐
taining ring tab -4-.
– Remove the fuel delivery unit.
Note
Be sure there is still some fuel inside the fuel delivery unit.
Installing
• Tightening specification. Refer to
⇒ "2.1 Overview - Fuel Delivery Unit and Fuel Gauge Sensor",
page 17 .
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
