– Remove right rear wheel.
– Remove the right rear wheel housing liner. Refer to ⇒ Body
Exterior; Rep. Gr. 66 .
– Separate the electrical connector -2- with ignition switched off.
– Disconnect connecting hose -1-.
– Remove screws -3- and remove diagnostic pump from EVAP
canister in direction of -arrow-.
– Remove the vacuum line -4- from the Leak Detection Pump.
Installing
• Tightening specification. Refer to
⇒ "4.1 Overview - EVAP System", page 61
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
– Install the right rear wheel housing liner. Refer to ⇒ Body Ex‐
terior; Rep. Gr. 66 .
– On a vehicle with air suspension, deactivate vehicle lift mode.
Refer to ⇒ Suspension, Wheels, Steering; Rep. Gr. 43 .
