Fuel Supply System - Edition 10.2018
– Grasp in fuel tank opening and remove Fuel Level Sensor 2 -
G169- through guide in direction of -arrow 2- while pressing
locking tab -arrow 1-.
Note
Fuel Level Sensor 2 - G169- is shown without fuel tank to provide
a better illustration.
– Carefully remove Fuel Level Sensor 2 - G169- through fuel
tank opening.
– Grasp in fuel tank opening and remove delivery lines with suc‐
tion jet pipe from left opening on fuel tank in direction of
-arrow-.

– Remove suction jet pumps from guide in direction of
-arrow 2- by pressing locking tabs at the same time
-arrow 1-.
Note
Suction jet pumps are shown without fuel tank to provide a better
illustration.
– Carefully remove suction jet pumps through fuel tank opening.
Installing
• Tightening specification. Refer to
⇒ "2.1 Overview - Fuel Delivery Unit and Fuel Gauge Sensor",
page 17 .
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Replace seals.

Verify that suction jet pumps are securely engaged.
♦
– Insert suction jet pumps in guide and press them down until
they engage audibly.
– Slide delivery lines with suction jet pipe through left opening
on fuel tank to right fuel tank chamber.
– Insert Fuel Level Sensor 2 - G169- in guide and press it down
until it engages audibly.
