Procedure
• Fuse for Fuel Pump Control Module - J538- OK. Refer to the
Wiring Diagrams.
• Battery voltage at least 12.5 V.
• Fuel Pump Control Module - J538- OK; check in
-Vehicle Diagnostic Tester- .
Fault Finding
• Fuel filter is OK.
•
Fuel tank minimum
• The ignition is off.
Vehicles through 10/2006:
Note
Fuel Pump Control Module - J538- is located at front of fuel tank
below exhaust system and driveshaft.
WARNING
Danger of getting burned.
♦ Allow exhaust system to cool.
– Disconnect the connector -2-.

under the rear seat bench, directly under the floor covering.
– Remove the right seat cushion in the second row. Refer to ⇒
Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 72 .
