The maintenance call mark is displayed on the panel.
The paper to be used for printing does not match the
paper type and size of paper setting selected on the
machine.
Select [Service Mode] -> [Imaging Process Adjustment]
-> [Stabilizer] -> [Stabilization
trouble is eliminated.
Select [Service Mode] -> [Imaging Process Adjustment]
-> [Gradation Adjust] and the image trouble is
eliminated.
• Select [Service Mode] -> [Test Mode] ->
Solid Pattern]. Select "SINGLE", "HYPER",
"Gradation", and "1-Sided", enter "64" for Density,
and load tray 2 with A3 paper. Press the start key.
This runs a print cycle of 8 colors on one sheet of
paper.
• Check the image after printing and the abnormal
image is evident.
Check item
Select [Service Mode] -> [Machine] ->
Alignment Adj] and the image trouble is eliminated.
Faulty connector connection the MFP board (CN18)
and PH relay board (CN1, CN2).
Select [Service Mode] -> [Machine] -> [Color
Registration Adjustment] and the image trouble is
eliminated.
Select [Service Mode] -> [Machine] -> [Print Hear Skew
Adj.] -> [Print Head Skew Reset] and the image trouble
is eliminated.
Select [Service Mode] -> [Imaging Process Adjustment]
-> [Stabilizer] -> [Initialize + Image
[Gradation Adjust], and the image trouble is eliminated.
Check item
Original contains incorrect color registration.
Select [Copy setting] -> [Original Type] and change the
setting, and the image trouble is eliminated.
DF does not lie flat.
Foreign matter on scanner rails.
Scanner moves smoothly.
