16.1.2  Level History 1
bizhub C458/C368/C308/C258
• Shows the developing bias value of toner when an image is produced.
• Standard values: around 300 V to 400 V (100 V to 800 V)
• The specific numeric values vary with different developing units. (The values incorporate corrections to
match the proper density after image stabilization.)
• If the value is high: It is decided that the image density is low by the IDC detection, and the value is
corrected high.
• If the value is low: It is decided that the image density is high by the IDC detection, and the value is
corrected low.
• Relevant components: Developing unit, drum unit, high voltage unit (HV)
• Shows the grid voltage value of each color of toner when an image is produced.
• Standard values: around 450 V to 550 V (200 V to 1000 V)
• The specific numeric values vary with different developing units. (The values incorporate corrections to
match the proper density after image stabilization.)
• If the value is high: It is decided that the image density is low by the IDC detection, and the value is
corrected high.
• If the value is low: It is decided that the image density is high by the IDC detection, and the value is
corrected low.
• Relevant components: Developing unit, drum unit, high voltage unit (HV)
• Shows the LD light value of each color of toner during print image formation.
• Standard values: around 1500 to 2200 (1400 to 3600)
• For your information, photoconductor durability tends to be aggravated and fine line width tends to be
broader at higher values and characters tend to be faint at lower values.
• Relevant components: PH unit, drum unit
• Shows the AC voltage value applied to the charging roller of each color of toner during print image
formation.
• Standard values: around 1750 V to 1800 V (500 V to 2500 V)
• Relevant components: Drum unit, high voltage unit (HV)
• Shows the current value applied to the charging roller of each color of toner during print image
formation.
• Standard values: around 120 to 145 (0 to 350)
• Relevant components: Drum unit, high voltage unit (HV)
