If you are using router software, and want to use Site Manager to format the
memory card, refer to Managing Routers and BNX Platforms.
If you are using router software, and want to use the Technician Interface to
format the memory card, refer to Using Technician Interface Software.
If you are using BayStream software, refer to Managing Files.

Remove the memory card by gently pulling the card away from the
connectors (see Figure 2-15).
Caution: The pins on the edge of the card can be damaged if you do not
pull the card straight out from the socket.
Removing the Memory Card
To replace a memory card, refer to "Installing the Memory Card,"
earlier in this chapter.
Note: If you install a new memory card that you did not obtain from Bay
Networks, you must format the card before trying to write to it. You can
use either the Site Manager or Technician Interface to format the
command.
