Setting Wireless Rates

The wireless bandwidth is shared between all subscribers in a sector. Use the following
settings to control traffic rates over the wireless interface.

1. Unicast traffic with an unknown destination (all RDL-3000 units maintain a forwarding
table) is transmitted two modulation steps below the lowest rate currently in-use
across all active Services.

Set the Uncoded Burst Rates (UBR) for
uplink and downlink traffic to/from this
subscriber. This rate is shared across all
Services and Service Groups.
Set the uplink and downlink rates (per
Service) for unicast traffic to/from this
subscriber.
Set the downlink rates (per Service
Group) for multicast and broadcast
traffic sent to members of this group.
